Giant is a narrative piece in VR telling the story of a family hiding in a basement while their city is bombed. Built in Unreal Engine and captured using a Red Dragon and Kinect, we had to solve for live-action integration inside a game engine. Using a specially made renderer and player, we were able to get video to play nice with depth-captured video.
